Captain's Log, This is Team Novus reporting from the development deck with our first transmission!

Welcome to our first development blog! As promised every week we will share details and updates on our game and its universe! This blog will focus on the weapons of the Lux Novus Universe! All of these are made by our fantastic modeller Joshua Schafer with concept art by Joel Nisbet!

THE GOLIATH

Created and manufactured by Vanguard Technologies in 4551 GD (Galactic Date). The Goliath Z-6 was designed during the Second Galactic War, and is an advanced heavy-duty caseless shotgun designed for close-quarters combat. Unlike regular cartridges with metallic casing, the Goliath Z-6 utilizes caseless ammunition technology to enhance performance and save costs. This innovative ammo encases each slug in a block of solid propellant instead of a casing. When the trigger is pulled, nothing within its sights escapes unscathed.

THE VIPER

Also created by Vanguard Technologies, The Viper is a handgun introduced in 4563 that quickly became popular among Terran Republic soldiers, with minimal recoil, The Viper effortlessly cycles rounds with minimal jamming risk.

THE STAFF

The staff, well, this isn’t any ordinary staff! this staff is used by Terran Republic soldiers, though, only certain types of soldiers. A soldier who uses the staff is otherwise known as a Terran Battlemaster-type soldier. Battlemasters focus on offence and defence and often focus on close-quarters combat.
