BAINE - THE COLONY WORLD
BAINE COLONY - ALBA STAR SYSTEM
On the outer sectors of the galaxy, lies a small colony system, The Alba Star System. In that star system is the Planet Baine, Baine was once a beautiful green world with majority of the world covered in water, but the War of Alba devastated the majority of the world, and now most of it is covered in debris from warships and scrap. This includes debris in the ocean, some of which has sunken due to size or weight. The Terran Republic cleared a large area for their Terran Republic Training Base, which has since restored the zone area to its former beauty. Furthermore, residents on Baine have taken the debris and turned it into houses, buildings, and so on.
THE TRAINING FACILITY
THE TRAINING BASE - LOBBY
The Baine Training Facility is primarily used to train new recruits for the Terran Republic Army, this is because, in the present day, Baine has become a safe, human colony, and has recovered relatively fast from the second galactic war. In the days following the end of the war, the facility concentrated on rebuilding Baine's defences and training soldiers for peacekeeping missions. However, in recent years, The Facility has focused on training soldiers, as years pass, The Second Galactic War becomes a more distant memory, yet is never forgotten for those who surivived.
A new generation of soldiers enlist, having never witnessed the devastation of war.
Cpt. Vahir Henson, still in command after all these years, struggles to keep the lessons of the past alive. He worries that if vigilance is lost, the Republic will be doomed to repeat history. The newest recruits consider him to be an ancient relic, preoccupied with past conflicts.
