THE WANDERERS
Kotharian, which roughly means Tundra Wanderer when translated from their native language of Kothanic. they are a race that lives on the now-decimated Kothari. Their culture was very peaceful for the longest time and somehow still is, even after the Neith Empire bombed their planet. Not much has survived of the past, but many survivors still talk about the wonderful Tundra of Kothari. The early Kotharians were nomads who wandered the icy tundras, establishing a rich cultural tradition centred on surviving and thriving in the harsh polar climate. Their days were frequently spent ice fishing and hunting mega-mammals.
Kotharians have very tough skin despite being relatively thin creatures, they don’t appear to have a direct weakness. At least visibly. While they are protected at the front and back of their body, their sides are not, thus, if they are to enter battle, more often than not Kotharians will have more armour on their sides than anywhere else.

Early concept options
The Kotharians were known for being peaceful, they avoided conflict with other native species, and usually, they tried to help resolve disagreements, conflicts and more by being neutral mediators. Kothari was regarded as a neutral planet, open to all life forms until the Neith Empire set its sights on Kothari. The Neith Empire began orbital bombardment, they were not prepared, it destroyed the republic, and melted the ice. almost overnight, Kotharian civilisation was obliterated, and countless perished.
